It's a really good artwork! It catched my eyes because it shows exactly the two sides of this world.Β The beautiful and also the bad that is caused by humans.
I love it! Keep it up!Β

hello, I would like to use your artwork for a project. In the project I have to describe a piece of visual art and I have fallen in love with this piece. If I have your permission to use it, can I have the name you have given the piece. Thank you!

I can see multiple things wrong with this picture:
- Nuclear Power Plant cooling towers release water vapor into the atmosphere, and unless there's a leak or improper handling during disposal (like when one idiot used wheat-based cat litter), NPPs are completely harmless to the environment.
- The lithium in your Prius batteries is mined from quarries that can be over 1 sq mile in area.
- Your electric car runs on coal.
- There are not more disasters today as there were 100 years ago, they are simply more easily viewed by the general public (Most of the world did not know about the Tri-State Tornado that killed over 700 people in the early 20th C until weeks after.)
- On that note, the air and water are much cleaner today than in 1969.
- There are 5x as many polar bears and just as many glaciers today as there were in the early 2000s when Al Gore was using his scare tactics (he now owns 4 mansions and leaves the AC on in all of them, as well as some private jets)
"The welfare of humanity is always the alibi of tyrants." - Albert Camus

It's absolutely stunning, I love the colors and I love the rose woman too. Her eyes are just gorgeous.
Though it doesn't really look like a climate change at all... It looks like an apocalypse; complete destruction maybe?

This is beautiful, and I love how you are informing people about climate change. It's wonderful how you are informing people about how our interactions can change and interact with the environment.
You are very talented. Your detail and colors are beautiful! The way you render the water is stunning. I also adore the roses. Such a beautiful picture.
It also strongly reminds me of the nuclear tragedy that occurred in Japan, which technically is not an effect of global climate change, but an effect of a severe earthquake, extremely poor management, and possibly contributed to by the amount we don't know about the effects of nuclear technologies. (I'm not advocating nuclear energy or saying that it doesn't lead to climate change, and I don't believe nuclear is the way to go. I merely don't think that that catastrophe is a direct effect of global climate change.)
More than representing that tragic nuclear catastrophe, I think it might be more effective to focus on over-production, waste management, and excessive use of energy in general. Until we can find a safe alternative, we would do well to use significantly less energy.
So! I wonder if you (or another talented artist if you're too busy) could do a follow up. Something more like causes of climate change such as silicone valley and the effect of improper disposal of electronic products, or other industries that lead to climate change.
To end on a positive note, I think you have a beautiful idea. And I support your using your Upheaval idea here on deviantART. Strong messages are carried very well through art. You obviously made a stunning and captivating image which has gotten a lot of reaction from people. Really amazing. Great job!
