Description This is another version of the poster I did for my major project - Global Warming: Electricity Consumption. (version 1: fav.me/d6xw0no )

(The video itself is here: vimeo.com/81504731  )

The idea is using a very old style. Early 19th. Old film old poster style.

I choose to use minimalistic to show the concept. It was simple, but powerful.

The video itself, I chose to use old film such as Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times and Metropolis to be my footage and some more to combine. The modern time such as time lap of Singapore, light's on, etc. all taken by myself.

I hope you would go and watch my short video and give some feedback and comments, thank you!

Impact

I really like the meaning to this picture. It's short and simple with a good impact.
Now, the thing that really got to me were the colors you chose. I'm pretty sure you chose these colors to represent a dying earth. While that's a good idea, the color choice, bluntly, is poor. Brown, red, and yellow, are all too similar to one another. Therefore, they "blended"
My advice is to use complementary colors. Yellow and purple would be an example.
If you used colors that contrast each other, the picture's vision would look much better and it would leave an even bigger impact.
Overall, the color choice could use some work. Everything else is fine.

thanks. haha...it's not the best version though. the other version not sure you have seen or not. I wasn't want to use a complementary color when I did this, but maybe I should. Even in retro old fashion kind, it should be alright.

Anyway, so thank you for take your time to write this^^
