I've never read the original (no need to, because of my own headcanon and fanfics based off of both the original FO:E and PH - plus it's nsfw), but I have to thank both Kkat and Somber for giving us such a wonderful fanbase to work from.

Yup. I wanted to try out a new hairstyle for her (it should be choppy but still feminine, if you ask me).
And yeah. I first read it at 3 AM or so, and I just thought it was a kinda sad scene.
