My piece for Artists-of-Askr 's MonthofLove event. Basically, the project allows us to draw one of our S-supports, a.k.a our ships! Can be them doing anything cute, romantic, or just standing there! Honestly, it was a bit tricky thinking of which ship to draw, there are so many! Eventually, I went for an old favourite of mine, the Sacaean couple, Lyn X Rath! While drawing those 2, I stumbled upon a few videos talking about this ship... and it was kind of anti-LynXRath... or rather LynXAnyone now that I think about it. They made me question whether it was right to ship those 2 (well... LynXKent was a close second) but either way, I was hesitant in continuing. Eventually, I just went with it... shipping can be irrational and you kind of ignore reasoning and other's opinions sometimes, valid points though.

About the piece itself, after deciding to feature Lyn and Rath. I figured that since they are very tribal and more at home with nature, it's only right that to have them sleeping peacefully at the grassy plains of Mother Earth under Father Sky's grace. Their outfits were composites from their original and Heroes artworks because it's what I do. There was simplification admittedly because I only had about a week (saying that very generously lol) left to get this done.

Now, as for why I had to rush, well... ever since the start of the year, I was focusing on my uni applications, so... that took a lot of time. But anyway, am glad that it is done... both the applications and this art piece. Am now hoping to go back to drawing more frequently again, so thank you!
