every now and then I draw something decent...and then when ppl complement me I start getting jealous of myself...because no matter what I can't ever re-create another copy or similar drawing to it

Hah don't worry. I can't redo anything I've done either. I spend hours and hours on anatomy and even then I do it dodgily. This picture was actually me trying to learn to draw side views as I've always struggled in the past. I was super proud I managed to get it right this time so completed it into a picture.
