from a book named Tabaluga that was published in 1994, the same year sonic satam ended.i'm mentioning this because the Tv show came out in 1997 and ended in 2004, and the Tabaluga tv show reminded me of sonic satam a little bit.
but its still fun to watch
if you like satam you will most likely like the Tabaluga tv series.
And i have a lot nostalgia for this tv series.
and the theme song of the intro is fucking badass

Used to watch this show as a kid. We didn't have Satam at all, so this was like an alternative.

both are really good.
but i only watched the first season of the Tabaluga show,
the second season with that sand man wasn't really interesting or fun to watch.
i only watched 2 or 3 episodes of the 2nd season.

I remember there was another season where Tabaluga had to find symbols of the dragon to get a medallion. Strangely none of the characters from the desert appeared in this season except the chameleon (Kayo), who wanted to join Arktos' forces really badly and switched sides near the end.
