Nino a gud kid. She always do her best, even if it not gud enuff. So be sure to give her plenty of head pats, no matter what. Unconditional head pats are essential to a mage's upbringing. I forgot where I was going with this. :/

Anyway, I tried to improve on color gradation in this piece. In some ways, I think I succeeded. It definitely has more dimension than my usual fare. But I think I made it a little too even, so it kind of looks like plastic in some places (like the cape, for instance). I don't know, maybe I need to figure out texturing next. I also think I messed up the dress. Like, I went a little overboard on the shading, so it looks gray instead of white. I tried to fix it up by adding a blueish tint and toying with the brightness, but none of that seemed to work. And I still have no idea what to put in the background, beyond simple color gradients and patterns.

Oh, well. At least I did my best (get it? ).
