Description There will be no more roaring in the Night.

The Night is a Woman, noble bred-
She with grace dances the dance of the Druid's devotee.
Unflinching, she can slay
The Offering.

Her hair is wreathed, her eyes
Green as emeralds
Green as life.

Night had a Daughter:
Fair Luna! Gentle Luna,
Luna to whom she gave:
Queenship
Wildness
Light
Motherhood

(Luna's Kindness is her own brand of Love.)
And she set her up a Queen
So that Night could run wild alone.
(estranged now)
She is every street-woman,
A thousand creches bearing ilk
And monsters which frighten-
She is with every virgin,
Praying to the dark Night brings as a cloak
To hide their fear, and to give them
Courage for the Nuptial Empbrace.

She is a Lover. She is built for it.
Bred for it by the hands
Which brought her forth.
At the close of day she is dancing,
As she did for her beloved husband, Day.
He who comes with a Roar,
Trailing majesty- he came
As she called him once fervent.
(He ruled always when she called for him)

That Ancient Call would shatter
The strongest of Hearts, destroy
The purest of Loves- It was
All love in one lithe package,
Her ecstatic face looking high for her love
With open arms.

That's really interesting, your note on how this all started. There is a particular beauty to that silence, isn't there?

There is!

I really did feel bad about it, but I was late.

Why do I get the feeling that you had just left my house?
