Hot burns the iron which bears the blasting and the hammering,Groaning beneath the abuse of the smith, whose eyes do not see
In the dark beyond the sparks. Falls, falls, falls the cadences beautiful which
Prompt the iron to cry in hopeless rage, which tear its bones and racks its soul
Which commends itself to God and the grave, but finds no road to death.
Hot burns the iron as it wails in the dark, iron which bears the payment paid
Blood poured out in libation offering for a sword to cleanse a kingdom
So that living metal may save living flesh. Falls, falls, falls the blessed tortures
Which carry the iron along until it can go no more and falls at last to ruin and dust.
Pulvis et umbra summus, it whispers, and the sword is ready, clothed in gold and sharp as truth.

man, this makes me want to write so bad... i should start setting aside time to write each day.

As cliche as it sounds, and it is-
People are differnt, a man finds writing
Easy, or finds it to be like dragging
Hands through thorns.
I usually DON'T set time aside for writing, at least not for verse! For fiction and prose it is vital, but verse can flow at any time! But really, it depends. Find out a routine (or lack therof) that will fit you.
