Description The House of Man is offset, the floors rotting
So that you're falling through all the time, stuck on the first floor.
But the inhabitants shrugged-
If your house is the only house like itself about,
Then who can say it's wrong?

The House of Man is offset, and the Builder comes
Carrying the incense of the word on a golden chain
And in the other hand comes a hammer, a Carpenter's
Tool, nails with him coming, to be used
And the house trembles in preparation.

So the Builder sets the Plumb line
And the truth becomes clear,
The lean is spoken to,
And all the tennants are silent, the glory of the house
No longer in question and gone.
The House of Man if offset.

I can kind of see what you're doing. Maybe add another stanza after the second, to balance it out?

Hm. Perhaps!

I wrote this, and I really only posted it because I thought it was just good enough to be here, but it's definitely not in it's final form.

It's a good read, anyway. I look forward to when you finish it.
