A storm had broken in over Skåne and the ground was white. Now it would have been good with a ridingarena, I thought Sara and sighed. Out in the paddock, two of Rosendal horses were training, Moritz Roth and the newcomer Brisk Brigand. Moritz pulsed through the snow and sucked on his bit. He appeared to kick up the snow with purpose, just for fun.

Brink stood and watched Roth with curiosity. He seemed to study each step and movement that his friend did. Maybe, maybe it was that he memorized the movements so that he one day could become as good as the dressage stallion beside him.
