Hey guys, sorry this is so long! Full view obviously needed to see it.So, here is a comic. This is a present for James for his 50th bday, which was a few days ago. Happy Birthday James! Your wife isn't leaving you.
I was giggling like an idiot when I did this, just because the thought of Snape on a date with another woman is hilarious to me. I don't picture him being good at small talk.
I kind of ran out of steam towards the end of the comic... I have no drawing stamina, haha.

1. Lily here is a total bitch here, by setting Snape up with someone who wants to date Sirius.
2. Snape was not best friends with any death eater, he hated them.

Snape was friends with death eaters for years till he switched sides. Snape was a real death eater for a long time.

He was not death eater for long. Lily died at age 21, Snape became death eater at 18. So that's not a long time. Also. he was not best friends with them, he only joined them for the prestige, and he thought if he becomes someone powerful, Lily will be attracted to him. They offered him the one thing he never had, a place where he belonged.

In the books during Chapter 24 of GOF, Sirius tells them he hung around with a group of kids who "nearly all turned out to be Death Eaters". So they might have been friends.

Anyways, I said, Malfoy only joined death eaters so that he also gets some share of the powers. His issue with muggle was second. Malfoy wasn't like Voldie, who was out to destroy all muggles.

Oh. I just thought maybe they didn't because in OOTP Harry asks if he was telling them he was pureblood. I thought Voldemort would've lied like that because he wants so much to shed any Muggle part of his identity.

No, they knew Voldies blood status, they only joined him for the prestige. Why on earth Malfoy would join someone who is half mudblood?
Just like Snape, they were in it for popularity. Although I fully dislike Malfoy, Snape only joined them to get some sort of recognition because he got bullied and got ditched by Lily.

Snape didn't get ditched by Lily. He drove her away. She stayed until she couldn't take it anymore. Also, joining Voldemort will give you prestige in certain circles, but others are against it. Think of Peter Pettigrew; he's loyal to nobody, and will join whoever is strongest. As Sirius pointed out, that's why he waited to kill (or at least harm) Harry until Voldemort came back to power.
