So here is my lame contribution to the Hunger Games fandom, yay! More to come, perhaps, especially after I read Mockingjay. No I have not started reading it- even thought I got it the day it came out, I said I wouldn't read it until I finished my Marauders Movie from 4 months ago and colored at least one of my sketches. So NO SPOILERS PLEASE!
I really like Gale but Peeta seems to be more popular on dA. I hate how everyone draws him so skinny though, I picture him like really wide-set and broad shouldered, even more so than I drew him here. Hope you guys like it though, I kinda rushed it so I could get started reading

Have you seen Peeta in "The Expendables 2"? He kicked ass in that movie. Watch it, it will destroy your preconception of Peeta as a wimp.

Yes, I liked Gale at first, because I'm a first come, first serve sorta gal, but then Gale turned out to be a douche and Peeta actually cared about her pretty deeply.

Exactly. He had to go through a traumatic experience that should have put him against Katniss, but he got over it almost completely and stuck with her.
Gale fought a bit, didn't get tortured, and ditched Katniss when she was disturbed. What a GREAT best friend.

Guh I haven't read mockingjay yet and I like Gale way more then Peeta too up till now XD but somehow i have the feeling she's gonna end up with Peeta ....
AH well, he'll just have to win me over in the last book.

You should totally read it! But it ends really sad...oops! shouldn't have said that, except i had to...i practically cried in the scene wit Buttercup and Katniss...darn! This is so hard! I just want to thank you tremendously for drawing Peeta the way he was described: medium height and stocky. Most fans can't seem to comprehend that and it bugs the crap out of me!

AMAZING! Love you work as always. I do perfer GaleXCatniss, I imagine to Peeta look like an overgrown Pettigrew (or Wormtail, whichever you perfer) but somehow you manage to make him 1/2 way decent (which, is actaully very good.)

Okay, good, haha. I'm on the third part now, but I don't think I like it as much as Catching Fire, but that could change. I feel like SO MANY people die and it's like reading the last battle scene in Harry Potter over 300 pages. (I get upset even when minor characters die

Pretty picture though. I love how Peeta looks so unsure of everything. Does anyone else have a hard time NOT seeing Peeta as a fat blonde kid (a la Dudley Dursley?) Maybe it's how he's a baker and his name is like, well, Pita bread.

Omg, I was totally going to say that in the comments but I didn't want to get flamed. For some reason, in the beginning, I kept associating him with Dudley Dursley (but with more muscle that fat). I think it's because I saw a fanart of him that looked like how I picture Peeta now. But it doesn't affect my opinion of him at all, I guess just because he's so sweet and nice
