And the Tale of Aragorn and Arwen is completed!I did this one within a few days because it's just such a beautiful snapshot and moment of The Two Towers, i wanted to frame it and hang it on my wall. I bought frames today and have just framed it
This definitely challenged my skills with Aragorn, particularly his hand and beard but i'm very happy with the end result! This is my favourite and i think, best drawing so far and even better, it's of my all time fav couple
Approx 11 hours
Materials: 8B, 4B, B, 2B mechanical pencil, tissues, cotton buds and kneadable eraser.
P.S Estelio ammen is an elvish line Arwen says in this scene from The Two Towers meaning "Trust in us". I luv elvish, such a beautiful language!
Note: I have re-edited this after reading ~RoseDaughter 's comment and realising that I should of given him more stubble and hence I have...or at least tried hehe. Hope it looks better now!!

thank you so much! Ah yes i took much care and definitely spent more time on him hehe.
It's actually only a little bigger than what you see in full view, slightly smaller than A4, bout 25cm wide, 20 cm high, if that helps hehe.

I just have one question: Doesn't Aragorn have stubble on the sides of his jaws?

I have just re-edited it after reading and realising that me being lazy isn't a good enough reason to let Aragorn stay that way, so I tried to add more stubble/beard to his jaw.
I really really appreciate you pointing it out otherwise my drawing would not look better so thank you!!

We are all lazy. I skimp out on the hair and all that other stuff besides the face. You're not alone in being lazy.

haha yes he does, as you can see, this is my first time doing facial hair and i kinda got a bit lazy with trying to draw stubble so went with a more 'beard' type look. I changed it to suit my lack of drawing skills hehe but yes, he does have stubble.
