"Satine and Christian"one of my older pencil drawings of a courtesan and a penniless sitar player. moulin rouge is in itself a grand spectacle of art and color. er., sorry, " truth, beauty, freedom, and above all things, love."
Pencil on 5 x 7 sketchpad with sepia correction in Photoshop. I applied a Gaussian Blur filter, as with most of my art to offset the paper grain.

Brilliant work. Lovely picture. It seems that when I draw Christian and Satine they tend to look a bit more animated. Eh, I guess that's just my style, but awesome picture.

havent seen the movie till 3 days ago, although its so old. got the chance to buy the dvd ... and love the soundtrack. 'your song' is my favorite.
and ... to complete the moulin rouge theme, this study is simply ... perfect.
