A sketch pratice became this, Meowth was added later on after losing the whole thing with background study in a ps freeze... ;_; luckly I had a image version saved... so had to somehow continue with a paint over on SAI... but here it is :>on my tumblr with few details

James looks like such a cutie patooty ( as usual ) and I can't really describe Jessie's expression but. It suits her perfectly. They're both so pretty. =w=
The anatomy in this is just fabulous too. c':
Your shading looks fabulous and their clothes are just- wow. Lovely clothing folds. ;u;
And I'm really in love with the ambitious colour palette here!
There's so much going on colour-wise, the whole piece is super vibrant with the bounce lighting and high contrast, but everything goes together really well!
.. I really cannot get over how many colours are used in the shading of their clothes, but it's not off-putting in any way! Really brings out the background even more. ;v;
I'm particularly fond of the background too, and the way you incorporated both warm and cool colours.
Not to mention the beautiful detail that is all the individual leaves and the clouds. ;u;
.. that meowth has got to be one of the most adorable ever. Love how you've turned such cartoony characters into such stunning realism. c':
