EDIT: tried to fixed the shadows??? still not perf but I'll get there >8'(just a drawing I started a whole century ago
based on a dream I had and pose training for Holly lol

TBH I felt like adding all of the cogs you guys linked to me, but that would be impossible bc using 2 of them was already hard for my organization skills (which were already low LOL) I'll totally use the other ones for different situations, though ♥

you see in Deviantart you can make your own group where you can post art and other things.I'm still trying figure out it works myself since I and sister made a group called the cupcake crew not too long ago. In the group, you can invite people to join and much more

and the greens look really great together and then when you throw in the yellows (Jun's shirt, Holly's colors, Nommy's eyes, etc.)

The only """critique"""" (im p sure im the only one who noticed) I really have is some of the layering between your ocs? It looks like from our perspective going outward, it goes Jun, Halloween, then Holly (judging by the shadows) but when you look at the actual characters it goes Jun, Holly, then Halloween (I only noticed because of Holly's foot is covering up
Hall's ear)
but out of this huge picture and that being the only "weird" thing I noticed THATS AWESOME OMG

And oooh, I think I'll have to work on the shadows, then! Yup, the intention was the second order you mentioned (Jun, Holly and Hall), though I agree the only thing that sustains this is Holly's foot, I should try re-organizing everything so the idea gets clearer PFFFF!
Because I did draw them separately and then mixed everything together LOL it was my first mistake, I could have a better idea if I had sketched everything in the same pic BUUUT there's no use crying about it now! I dropped the shadow after I "joined" the 3 toons, I'll see what happens if I work on them separately too! (And I also gotta admit I didn't try with the shadows OTL BUSTED!!!!!!!!)

the easiest fix to this would be (like you said) try to keep each character in a separate file so it's easy to adjust their shadow, position on the canvas, etc.!
oooor you could pull holly's shadow closer towards us, and push hall's away toward the palm tree!
i struggle with the same thing as well, I merge everything down and then I realize I made a mistake and I can't go back to fix it ;0; TOO MANY TIMES MAN

oh man, just recently!!!!!!
there's a comedy page on facebook that gets pics from eeeeeeverywhere, it can be a super famous anime, a classical cartoon, anything, and they will say like "look at that gorgeous anatomy!!! the amazing proportions!!!" when it's actually ironic since they're always ultra bad drawings or frames lol.
but they posted a drawing of an artist now (who actually is one my ""friends"" lol, she's somewhat popular, yeah)
her drawings are goooooooooorgeous but on that specific drawing, the char's boobs looked just wrong. and of course, people would make fun of it. nothing directly to the artist, though, and at least IMO it wasn't anything harsh since most of them were questions like "how does that work?" or "boobs are supposed to be like this?"
and there were 1 or 2 constructive comments too. End of the story: the artist didn't even recognize her mistake, kept telling everyone the boobs were beautiful (when they actually weren't tbh) , sent her fans to complain on the page and threatened to take it down. I do understand it's bad to talk about people's art in bad ways, but once you post it on the internet , after exposals you gotta realize people WILL see it and WILL criticize it, whether you like it or not! and the worst thing is she didn't even bother to try and fix it after that.
I do comprehend both sides though, I wouldn't like people to get my art without my permission and post it on their page. I'd be a lil lost but I'd also try my best to fix the mistakes and take it "light heartedly". But again, it's just awful to go and say "yoooooooo what a shit artttttt hurrr durrr give upppp kill yourselfff mannnn badd arttt 0/10". just thought I'd share bc I see shit like that happening so many times and both parts should learn something from this ;-; if only ppl could communicate better or idk

YESS UGH sometimes criticism is good because we literaly cant see whats wrong with the image?? Like some people might pick up on coloring issues, others anatomy, etc. so we need those people to tell us that somethings wrong!!
Omg, wow, i cant believe she would send her white knights after people on that group?? If you dont want criticism, just leave a little note at the top of the image saying "not looking for critiques, thanks!" Or something like that!! And if you dont, peolle gotta realize that theres always going to be some sort of critique with your work, and most of the time the artist has to learn to take the critique!! Thats probably one of the hardest parts about drawing, but once as you get over that hurdle it gets really easy to improve!! But i also see that criticism needs to be just that and not an excuse to flat out insult someones art like "HEY UR ART SUCKS HAHA ITS JUST CRITICISM" , those people should go learn how to spot real mistakes in a drawing, or even go draw themselves and realize its not so easy oooo

AND OH HAH As if they'd let me in with stupid art like this!!! tbh, they once offered me the opportunity to do a test to be part of the 3D modelling team,(something I'm really honoured to say bc they're such a great and talented team!!♥) but It didn't go well bc I was either too busy w/ other tests or even nervous to take their calls and actually learn my part OTL. Luckily I've been learning how to deal with shyness but I definitely learnt in college that I'm completely unskilled with 3D LOL, so i'd probably just have been a dead weight!
