Description
A creature that has been appearing quite a fair amount of times in the jungle is some kind of plant girl with a giant snake tail behind her, while it's unsure of where she came from, the most accepted theory at the moment is that she was created from some plants and flowers came in touch with water from the pit of courage, I personally believe it's because some of the roots of a plant grew to close to water from the Pit of Courage, giving some effects that turned the plant into a pretty good looking creature. I've nicknamed the plant girl Ilana, Hebrew for tree, and in the encounters I've had with her, she's certainly been something. From some information I've gathered, it might also be possible versions of her have spread to other worlds, although I'll need to do more research on this and how it happend.

She seems to have received quite a few powers from the pit, one of the most obvious being her tail's 'mouth', the tip of her tail can quite easily open up and along with the help of some small vines can latch onto her prey and swallow them whole, the tail being big enough to swallow a entire person, something Ilana seems to quite like as a meal. Once caught, she'll move her victim through her tail where she'll then start digesting them, once in small enough pieces, she'll move her meal to her more regulair looking stomach where they will then be fully absorbed. However some people, like the guardian of this jungle, don't digest easily, and if not digested properly, Ilana can't move her victim to her stomach to finish, and after at most a week, she has to make a choice between either pushing her undigested prey to her stomach and risk dying due to not being capable of having a full body in her stomach, or spit them back out and look for another prey.

Eating people isn't the only thing her tail can do however, it can also dig through the ground, basically able to make it go wherever she pleases, this allows her to distract her prey with herself before having her tail either come out behind or even underneath her prey and quickly snagging them up, she can be very sneaky with that thing. Always distracting people with herself first, while user her tail to sneak up on people, usually quite effective for people that see her as a attractive body, and of course, because her tail is underground and the leaves are covering her lower half, she can easily come of as looking like a girl with legs on her knees. Something else of note is the leaves around her waist, she can grow and shrink these as she pleases, often she'll grow these to be big enough to cover herself, basically making herself look like a giant flower while her tail just sneaks up to people. Of course, not everyone is to distracted by her, or she can't always sneak up on them, she can always rely on simply coiling her victim like most snakes do, squeezing them until their either unconscious or weak enough to easily eat.

Of course, distracting, surprising and squeezing can only get her so far. However she seems to have two final tricks. Hypnotic Nectar, and Sleeping Gas. These two seem to mainly work like magic spells, some things she can cast on her prey through a simple blow of air or kiss on the lips to make them behave as she'd like them too, if she charges up a little she'll get Sleeping Gas, while if she charges up longer she'll get Hypnotic Nectar. Of course these can take quite a bit of effort and time to use, so she mainly uses them if her prey is particularly troublesome. The two obviously work as their name would suggest, Sleeping Gas makes her victims sleepy, and Hypnotic Nectar, while more difficult to use, can make her victim do as she pleases, which usually is just going along with being eaten, but sometimes she seems to have a little fun with them first.

Now I'm sure some of you would like to know more about this plant girl, and to them I say, you're in luck! Because I have been studying her long enough from a safe distance to know what she's like! She doesn't speak to much, but has been showen to come off as rather sure of herself and her ability, being quite the actress and often playing the damsel for a lot of unlucky explores who happen to cross paths with her, right before she tries and swallows them with her tail. She's come off as quite smug and teasing, yet also quite calm. This calmness however can fade quite a bit when things don't go her way, keeping a cool head yet looking visibly annoyed. She also seems to get quite attached to some people, if she has someone she likes then she'll target them until their hers. At the moment, this is the case for the jungle guardian.

Now with all the abilities you'd might be thinking, "Is there any way to defeat her?" And fortunately, there are some weak points! Like I mentioned before, she can't get her prey into her stomach if she can't digest the properly, which can lead to her having to either spit them out again, or have some stomach pains which could turn deadly for her. Of course, any kind of fire is something that would absolutely destroy her, weder it is a natural flame or magic, it will burn through her with ease. Surprisingly to most however is that rivers and seas also seem to be troublesome for her, drowning her to much in water I suppose. However, one quite useful thing is on the inside of her there are a few certain places where you'd might notice it being a bit brighter then others, those are her weak spots, stab or even claw at it to try and break you're out, those spots aren't always there, and sometimes can be very difficult to reach, but if you can get one it would be useful. With all of that said however, once defeated, she won't actually stay dead, she'll quickly disappear into the ground and after some time will emerge again alive and ready to continue what she was doing, so you can get rid of her, only for a little while though.

Figured it was about I had some kind of predator to my world, and I think this was quite a fun idea for me to introduce, I quite like how her design came out, a nice combination of plant and flowers in her outfit, as well as just a interesting mix of ideas as a whole. Hopefully you'll all enjoy her as well!
