pencile 2006this piece is self-portrait made for a class assingment.
in my head, there are 2 worlds of creation.
one is pretty, calm, fantasy, relaxing and gentle world.
in this world, i can make any painting that i want easily and
the pieces would be happy, soft, or cute.
another is harsh, unconfortable, and sever world.
this piece is about the sever world.
i'm in the sever world and grabbing a bird (it's hard to tell tho...)
the bird represens the images that i want to paint, but
they are flying away from me.
in this world, i always fight and straggle to catch the birds.
the reason why i chose to draw the sever world rather than the gentle world?
it's because i feel like i'm stacked now...

This exacly the way I see creation: like a savage bird who wanna flyes far from me, but when I catch it.. I stifle it...
