Summer Haste
Or just Summer, is the daughter of Lightning Dust and a step-sister to Swift Note.

Lightning and Treehugger had a short fling a while back, Lightning barely remembering the green mare. Of course, an earth pony filly on her doorstep restored her memory and she suddenly didn't know what to do. Should she find Treehugger and return the filly? Should she give the filly to authority? ...Should she just leave it there in hopes some other creature will take care of the small filly? She never thought of having children, a family of her own. Becoming a Wonderbolt, then a Washout, those were her only goals in life, she never thought of what would come next. She didn't have any other plan. And yet, with the small filly in her hooves, she knew she didn't have the heart to leave it. No, her. She couldn't leave her or risk the possibility of her getting into a bad home. So, she took her in. She didn't know how to be a good mother but goddamn will she try, succeeding is her speciality after all. It was a… struggle at first, balancing out the work and her kid, taking care of an earth pony. But she made it work, they made it work.

Summer Haste is almost the same exact copy of her mother. A snarky and sarcastic bastard, who makes sure she is the one on top. Except, that isn't the whole truth, now is it? She may be a sore loser sometimes, but she takes care of her mother and all the other Washouts. She knows who her other mother is and she also knows she left her alone with Lightning, and to say she holds a grudge against her mother is an understatement. But even then it made her so much closer to her real family. Her mom always tried to be the best she can be, balancing her work and her child. Summer is just returning the favor. Summer is reckless, not really thinking before her actions. She takes great pride in her family and isn't afraid to fight anyone who even dares to glares at them. She is a giant flirt too, but she doesn’t want an actual serious relationship just yet.

She likes watching the show her family puts on, loving how challenging it is (fun fact! The Washouts shows actually became tamer after Summer arrived, Lightning not wanting to hurt herself too bad, because of her new responsibility). While she is an active pony, sports never really interested her. She mostly just enjoys running and going to the gym, she couldn't be bothered to actually learn the rules for sports. She has found her best friend, and only friend, in Misfortune, even if Misfortune would never call them friends. They sneak out together a lot, going to parties or just to hang out… maybe destroy a property or two, but that's a story for another day.

Summer absolutely hates anything slow, she enjoys the fast pace way more. If something is taking too long, it's automatically bad in her eyes. Maybe that's also another reason, why she can't stand shy creatures. She hates losing and will almost immediately challenge you to another race, over and over again, until she wins. Also, she has a very biased opinion when it comes to The Washouts, so don't even try to argue that they are bad. She also can't stand her "step-brother"...

Summer Haste's talent lays in medicine, she is the medic for The Washouts! She is also heterosexual.

The result of something Lightning would rather forget. Swifty is the son of Lightning Dust and a step-brother to Summer Haste.

When Lightning was told she was pregnant, her whole life crumbled. If it was in any other circumstance, she would maybe even be happy! But… as much as she wanted to, she couldn't get rid of him. She guesses having Summer made her soft. And so, Lightning got another child, a pegasus son this time and… He was adorable, almost a full copy of his mamma, minus his pale blue skin.

Swifty was born from a very bad situation in Lightning's life, which alone already made his life harder. While his mom was caring and loving, he slowly noticed how she never looked him in the eyes, always looking away when he tried to make eye contact. He brushed it off, not really much he could do after all. But his sister… She really didn't like him. Always ignoring his best efforts to talk with her, while always telling him to leave mom alone. Alone, she was dismissive but with mom around, she played the good big sister. Swifty knows these moments weren't real but he still keeps them close to his heart, treasuring them.

Swift Note is a quiet boy, he normally just stays in his room if Lightning is away. He tries to help around the house as much as he can, cleaning and making sure everything is where it's supposed to be. He likes to be praised, what else can I say? Even if he has a very shy and quiet personality, Swifty loves to explore and find new things! Except that he also gets lost very easily, so he normally explores with his best friend, Lil' Cheese. While Swifty is very quiet, he gets frustrated surprisingly very easily, which really doesn’t mix well with Summer's snarky personality. They fight a lot.

He really likes comic books and superheroes, wishing he could help other creatures just like them. He also really likes playing the piano, he does take a lot of pride in his piano skills, momma Lightning making sure both of her kids are proud in their hobbies, no matter what they are. He loves exploring and he always tries to find hidden treasures, planning to give all of it to his dear mom. He is also a big fan of The Washouts, even if he himself would never try those tricks.

He doesn't really like math or science subjects, they just make his head hurt. He also doesn't enjoy flying, believe it or not. He does enjoy watching others but flying himself? That sounds boring and also a tiny bit scary. He hates being alone with Summer, so he mostly tries to stay away from her as much as possible. He also hates being ignored.

Swift Note's talent will actually be rapping in the future! No sexuality for him just yet, since he is still very young. I will tackle that when he grows up!
