"We've got lips," Kirrahe, murmured, leaning in to the way Mordin's strong hand gripped his waist on attempted to control the kiss.

"Lips facilitate sucking, create a vacuum. Adaptation to climate and food sources. Kissing a secondary activity." Mordin punctuated the statement by drawing Kirrahe in again and claiming his mouth. He wondered, like he had often before, if Mordin wasn't so much objecting, but simply couldn't help sharing his knowledge.

"Kissing gained popularity through interspecies mingling. Turians lack lips, can't kiss in a traditional sense, but 'kiss' has become any mouth contact in romantic or sexual context-"

"For someone so adamant about salarians not kissing, you're pretty good at it," Kirrahe teased, as he sought out the collar button of his friend's tunic.

"Only stated facts, not implying I don't enjoy the activity. Can stop speaking if you want, Kirrahe."

"No, no," he breathed through a small chuckle in his throat. "I don't mind. Feels like I'm getting a biology lesson as well as getting laid."

"Much I can teach you," Mordin said, grinning slyly as he lifted his hands to help Kirrahe with his buttons.
