Rikke shifted from on foot to the other while she tacked up her mare. This was her very first competition after all and she still hadn't really got used to the whole 'her own mare' thought. She caressed the smooth fur on Silent's neck while the mare nuzzled the girl's chest. She felt her rider's insecurity and tried to comfort her when Yan joined the two of them. "You know I really appreciate that you really want to be Silent's owner..." he raised his hands in which he held a ski helmet and matching ski goggles and eyed her sceptical. "...but why does it have to be ski jöring? I mean", he added miserably, "I'm really crap at skiing." Rikke chuckled slightly. "And I'm really crap at riding this fast. So we are both pretty much fucked up, aren't we? I guess we should just make the best of it." She patted his shoulder and turned to mount Silent who snorted satisfied. "C'mon we have a race to win."
