Mark slowly stumbles into house after a long night. He had actually invited his friend Aaron over to spend the night before he had gotten caught up in his 'work'. That's what Mark would call it. 

See Aaron and his girlfriend, Jess had flew all the way from Britain to the United States to go to a huge convention. Mark thought it only right to go talk to her personally about Aaron's agreement to stay another night. This then led to him getting caught up in 'work'.

"Yami! I'm back!" Mark shouts. "I was hoping you wanted to play a game! I even got something for you!"

When Mark doesn't get an answer he decides to stop shouting and actually look for the man. In the background Mark hears some movment and pauses to listen to something that sounds like it's coming from below. 

"Yami?" Mark asks to no one as he turns the door knob but his hand slips. He quickly tries to wipe the sweat off on his jacket. It doesn't seem to help cause his jacket is covered in more liquid.
He manages to open the door to this basement under his house and walks in. He hears the same noise he heard upstairs. It sounded like chains moving and a muffled voice.
"Oh Yami~ I found you." Mark chuckles when his eyes land on who he had been looking for. He seems to ignore the fact that Aaron  is chained to a chair and gagged. 
"We are going to play so many games Yami but first I have a gift." Mark ignores Aaron's whimpers and flicks on the light so they both could see better. Aaron  closes his eyes tightly when the light hits his face. After a couple seconds he opens his eyes to see Mark smiling at him. Aaron then looks down to see that Mark is covered in blood. He was holding a knife and what looked like a heart. Aaron shrieks but it is muffled by the gag.
"Yami...I cut this just for you...do you like it?" Aaron quickly shakes his head terrified. He could feel the tears running down his face. This wasn't the Mark he knew.
"That's because you don't know who's it is. I'll give you a hint. She is tall... and pretty... and is the bitch that took you away from me!" Mark yells and crushes the heart causing blood to splatter all over the both of them. 
Aaron's eyes widen and he starts sobbing at the reality of what happened. This seems to make Mark angry though.
"Just forget her Yami. She never loved you like I do. She even chose her life over yours." Mark chuckles and gets closer to Aaron pressing the back of his knife against Aaron's neck neck and he whimpers. "That was her mistake." He chuckles again and flips out the light.
