The contrasts here are amazing. I'm still trying to figure out how to create dark areas like this that look almost as if you used a marker.

Thank you very much!! A friend of mine recently told me how to get really black areas. You can draw one layer with a 9B Mars Lumograph pencil and then go over it with a 6,7or 8B pencil (it doesn't really matter which brand in my opinion). The important thing is to make really small circles. Maybe this is interesting for you.

Yeah maybe it's the variation in the pencil material, I'll give that a try next time, but I do work in slow circles for it. I think another issue is my paper surface as well, but yet haven't had anything as jet black as this.
Though willing to try anything, so I'll do a 9B and swap in a lower value layer see what happens. ^_^

Ich freu mich immer besonders wenn Leute die ich selber gut finde (bzw deren Bilder) meine Sachen gut finden.
Ich habe mich bemΓΌht ihm gerecht zu werden, allerdings brΓ€uchte es dafΓΌr vermutlich schon noch mehr. Ich finde der Kerl hat echt ne gute Ausstrahlung, die ist schwer aufs Blatt zu bringen^^

Ich kann dir versichern das deine MΓΌhe sich wirklich
gelohnt hat.
Ich find das soooo super gelungen, da muΓt dein Licht nicht unter den Scheffel stellen.
Er hat in der Tat ein ganz gewisse Ausstrahlung die selbst auf den meisten Fotos nicht rΓΌberkommt.
Aber du hast eine tolle Vorlage gefunden und perfect umgesetzt.
das Licht und der Bildausschnitt tragen wesentlich dazu bei. und ich adore deine Hauttextur, die sieht soooo klasse aus, eine sache die ich bis heute noch nicht auf die reihe bekommen hab.
also nochmal Hut ab...und ich hoffe instΓ€ndig das dieses Bild noch mehr klicks, faves und kommentare bekommt.

I made many little circles with three different pencils and then went over it with a tortillion which I just dabbed over the brighter parts. I didn't smudge it that's why the texture is so strong.
