Grace grabbed her bucket and walked over to the gate and into the pasture. It had been a few days since she had landed in Italy, and it still felt surreal every morning she woke up. It was still so new that she had been one of the people chosen to come to the villa and try her hand at taming an Alsedonn. She had heard of this majestic breed before, had even met Sofia's grumpy Diablo, a classic build stallion who loved Sofia and that was about it. Grace smiled to herself as she pulled her phone out of her back pocket and turned it on, flipping to her official documents.

Grace scanned the pasture, glancing back at her phone every so often until she had found the mare that she was looking for. The gorgeous Cremello mare was grazing close by to some other mares when Grace slowly made her way over, trying not to spook any of the horses. The mare watched as Grace came to stand in front of her, placing the purple bucket between her feet. Grace reached out a hand and let the mare sniff her fingers, showing that she wasn't a threat and that she wanted to be friends. The mare snorted before lowering her head and meeting Grace's hand with her head, petting herself before Grace knew what was going on.

Grace tried to conceal a laugh as she flexed her fingers against the mare's head. She didn't want to spook the mare with any loud noises, but she found it a little funny that the mare was petting herself. Grace thanked her lucky stars that the mare seemed calm and at ease with a human around, and hoped that this would mean that training would be smooth sailing. Grace knew that this was just luck that the horse that she had asked to train was kind and calm. She could have chosen one with a similar mentality to Diablo, who had taken a long time to trust Sofia. Though, Grace had not accepted the invitation because she wanted an easy task. She wanted the challenge learning to trust another horse, and she was excited that this mare seemed to want the same thing.

Gracec bent down and pulled a carrot from the bucket and held it up for the mare to sniff. She sniffed it once or twice before eagerly nibbling at the end, taking bites of the orange vegatable. Grace smiled as she held onto the green stalks at the base of the carrot as the mare took another bite. Grace gently placed her other hand on the mare's head again as she smiled.

"I think I'll call you Moonie, what do you think? Do you like that name?" Grace asked the mare. The mare whinnied before taking the last bite of the carrot. Grace laughed before bending down and grabbing another carrot.

"I think we'll get along fine Moonie. Just you wait, we'll be friends for sure."
