To be exact, Calvin is a protective HALF-brother.

That's right, guys! Calvin has a younger half-brother. And by younger, I mean a few hours younger. They have the same birth date, but only because Calvin's brother was born a few days earlier than his mother's anticipated due date.

His name is Simon, and they lived in the same neighborhood before Calvin left.

Simon left shortly after Calvin, when he came out of the closet to his mother. His mother was accepting of it, but she thought he would have a better life away from the place they were living in before.

Simon moved into the same city as Calvin without even realizing he was living there.

And guess what? They're both dating vampire dudes! :>

The funny thing is, Simon met his boyfriend at a night lounge, specifically the one Derek and Gavin own.
They hooked up and Akihito (Simon's boyfriend) left his phone number with a note that said, "Text or call me sometime. I'd love for you to be mine again soon. "
And yeah, Simon and Akihito are really sweet, precious boyfriends now.
Simon calls Akihito "Aki~!" Simon is the only one who Akihito permits to call him by this nickname, but only because they've been dating for so long and they're really close.

Simon and Calvin eventually see each other in a public place, and they catch up on everything that's happened since they last saw each other.

Fun Fact: Simon is the same height as Calvin, at 5 feet. Smol babbs.
