The probe files for some of the materials. Some of them (well, alot of them) need the "Uffizi(?) somthin' or other probe"

Umm, I wouldn't doubt that it's his program, if it's an older version, it wont work. I used to have C4D 7, and No materials worked.

uhm.. materials for 9 dont even work in 8.1, they changed the way they are saved almost completely, and i think these materials were for 9. i cant remember, i've used both 8.1 and 9.

Ok like I said, Im new at this. How do I get them IN 4D? I went to open, it says it cant recegnise them. I goto load matereils, nothing happens. I just dont know what to do . Help? Please?

no, in the materials section down the bottom of the screen click on file --> Load Materials... and open it through that

oh yeah... if u press ctrl+shift+O and then find the file it should work, if it doesn't, then download them again, it might be corrupted, if it still doesn't work then i'll upload the file again
