They were a great couple. But I believe the lesson in the series finale of that show, you going to go through a lot of dates in your life some more than others. Nothing is ever set in stone however eventually you will find happiness and love. That's why the creators didn't hook Mordecai up with neither Margaret Orr I forgot the other girl's name
