Basically Davie meets America and they become friends, he takes America to his house and shows him a flower he always wanted but could never find. America promises Davie that he will get him his flower and won't return until he finds it. After awhile if searching America begins to miss Davie so he decides to visit him. When he sees him he is all grown up and there is now a town where Davie lives. Davie is talking with another guy and leave America not knowing who he is. America thinks he is like this because he doesn't have his flower and becomes more determined to find it. England comes to vist America and America tells him about the flower. England explains that you can't find the flower here but can find it back in his home and tells America he will come back with his flowers the next time he comes. America gets excited and goes to tell Davie the good news but this time Davie is old and is with his Granddaughter. He asks America if he is looking for his parents or something and America gets sad because he thinks he's getting worse. England comes to vist again and America gets mad at him for not coming fast enough but forgives him when he sees the flowers. America egger to show Davie runs to him and meets a boy that looks like him when they first meet. He thinks it is Davie and he turned back to normal but he is actually Davie's grandson. His grandson takes the flowers and throws them into the coffin where the real Davie is. America follows him to the coffin and sees it's full of Davies flowers. America doesn't know about life and death and asks him what's going on.
