Description
Pencil bust of Power Girl, one of DC's most (in)famous superheroines. She always seemed a bit off to me. . .writers trying to find a place for a female superman that was still not a cheap Supergirl knockoff. I guess hence the boob window (which still makes no sense to me) and the bristly attitude.The face I based off of Veronica Mars somewhat and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Nice pencils! She is what she is. Writers and artists at DC have been wrangling the character around for years, changing her history and costume. But at least they always portrayed her as tough, determined and never giving up. My favorite heroine.

Yeah, I haven't seen her post-reboot incarnation (is there even one?) but hopefully she can find a niche all her own. Thanks for the comment and fave!
