Description
Finally! I had some time for myself!I spent that time painting this picture. Tried to portray the Moon in a little bit more realistic manner. The view here is from a slope of large crater's central peak.

I like how I can tell the earth from this point of view is sideways without even being able to recognize any continents (though I think I see Australia in there 
I'm wondering if the shadow from the edge of the crater would still be blurred with no atmosphere to diffuse the light or would it be sharp-edged. I guess it looks nicer this way though

I based it onΒ SchlΓΌter crater. it's right next to Mare Orientale.

P.S. I had Dr. Chuck Wood while a grad student at University of North Dakota. He wrote this caption for a Lunar Orbiter image of the crater. I just wondered about the view of Earth from there as you pictured it.Β web.archive.org/web/2007081311β¦
