What kind of thoughts should run through your mind when you discover that you are merely a copy of someone? OfΒ Something? That is long gone by now... That you are to follow another's orders, even if you didn't want to... I wonder, just what is freedom...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A sketch of Ala I did not that long ago today, I've been experimenting with head positions and I love how this one came out.
I tried to replicate her anguish and confusion in a single expression, can someone critic her expression for me what they think it means? To me it doesn't look like what I'm trying to portray so I want to know if anyone can give me tips on how to do so.

It seems that her expression is more vague to me than the feeling of anguish/confusion. When I first saw this, I though that she was so scared to (almost to her) death, the hollow face comes, and the second one that came to my mind was that she became woozy. I think when it comes to describing expressions, try to take suggestions from other people (you know, to find the expression that you find ideal for your character to make). I'm sorry if I'm being harsh. It's just how I feel about Ala's expression. It's a really vague one. But other than that, her head position is great, and so is her body proportion to her head. So I say it's a decent sketch.

Well, her creator made a copy of his daughter who had passed away, and Ala's that copy, she didn't take it well either when she found out.
