This is a lovely image, but it's not without its flaws.
I love the colours and the contrast between the colours.
I really like the wetness, and especially the way the leaf rises
up above the water somewhat.
The composition is great. I love how the leaf is off centre.
However, i think that the lighting really lets this image down. I feel like it's a bit over exposed and therefore you lose a lot
of detail around the edges. And also it become a a bit irritating to the eye, just because it's so bright. Maybe my eyes are just really sensitive to the light. But that was the first thing that
jumped out at me.

I have felt from certain monitors the image looks over saturated, but not overexposed. The brightness on the edges is due to the reflection of light on the water, which I could tone down, but I felt it would seem as though the water wasn't there or at the natural angle that it is. It has actually been commented to me that this photograph is underexposed because of the darkness of the water, but the pool where this shot was taken has a black bottom so the water is always extremely dark. I will play around a bit and see if I can't do some more recovery with Lightroom in any case
