Description Godzilla is my all time favorite monster.  He needs no introduction as he has starred in 30 films and as a tribute to his 62 years of destroying everything, here are my top 10 favorite incarnations of the character.  Trust me, this was not easy to make as I have more than 10 favorites.

10.  KiryuGoji (2002-2003)-  Believe it or not I was very tempted to put MireGoji on this spot but then I thought to the Kiryu saga and how this particular incarnation seemed to be the definitive version.  Basically it's MireGoji, only better.  Plus, who felt sorry for this one after what happened to him in Tokyo SOS

9.  KingGoji (1962)-  This was one of the earliest incarnations of Godzilla I ever saw and man did this one leave an impression.  It had that mean look that scared me as a kid.

8.  MosuGoji (1964)-  Quite possibly the best of the Showa incarnations.  Just the tone this one gives off is just perfect.  Think of it, when he first appears and people start running, keep in mind they aren't running because the plot tells them to or just because it's a giant monster; they're running because it's Godzilla.  And plus, this was the Godzilla that showed just how unstoppable he really is.  As stated in my top 10 Godzilla films, this Godzilla represents hopelessness and just how strong that can be.

7.  DesoGoji (1995)-  While the Heisei series is the best series in my opinion, it did take a toll on Godzilla's designs.  To me, the 1993 incarnation is the weakest but 1994 improved but wasn't perfect yet.  It wasn't until 1995 were Godzilla's design was back to greatness.  It's funny how lights in the suit and a change to the head can make one of the best designs ever.  As for the suits performance, it's nothing short of fantastic.

6.  FinalGoji (2004)-  I really have to disagree with Adam Noyes with this one.  If you don't know already, he says that everything about this suit is done wrong and the only thing done right were the eyes.  To me, this suit makes sense in accordance to the film it appeared in.  Yes the spines are small, yes, he's slimmer than other incarnations but has anyone realized that like Lugia, this is one of the downright strongest incarnations of all time.  Every time I see this one, I think of sheer power.

5.  ShinGoji (2016)-  Well look here, the most recent incarnation made it pretty high up.  If you've seen Shin Godzilla, you can see why I like this one.  The evolution was creepy but I was waiting for that one moment that would seal it as one of my favorites.  I got that moment when he just unleashed the atomic breath and destroyed everything.  While I miss the traditional use of a suit, I couldn't tell that the CGI was in fact CGI.

4.  LegendaryGoji (2014)-  I don't care how much flack I'm gonna get for putting our Godzilla above Japan's most recent child but opinions are unique to everyone.  I waited 10 years to see Godzilla again and what he did in the 2014 film was just indescribably amazing!  As for Godzilla's look, this is a great modern take on the King of Monsters.  I love how he looks like a real animal and the concept was pretty original for the character as well, being a natural creature that existed so long ago.  Definitely one of the coolest redesigns to a character and it's because of this incarnation we got ShinGoji to begin with.

3.  84Goji (1984)-  I may not have said this before but it was torture not putting Godzilla 84 and vs Biollante in my top 10 Goji films but the suit used is still one of my favorites as well as one of the best.  Plus, like the rest of the Heisei series, this design is what people normally think of when they think of Godzilla.  Plus, this was and is still one of the scarier incarnations and the roar is just perfect.

2.  SokogekiGoji (2001)-  There have been many concepts for Godzilla whenever he was to be rebooted:  A semi-marine creature awakened and mutated by H-bomb testing, a combination of millions of microorganisms feeding on nuclear waste, a naturally evolved creature from a bygone age.  How about the manifestation of the restless souls of those who died in WWII coming back to punish Japan for forgetting their sacrifice?  Seems legit to me and it works.  This particular incarnation, to me, is probably the scariest one due to the eyes.  No pupils and Godzilla's actions show that this is not a creature driven b instinct.  This is the closest we've gotten to a zombie Godzilla and the only truly evil or malevolent Godzilla that intentionally kills people.  This incarnation is just one of the best in design and concept.

1. GhidoGoji (1991)-  Remember when I said that the Heisei incarnation is the one most people think of?  Well this is the Godzilla I think of when I think of a terrifying force of nature.  This Godzilla is muscular, powerful, terrifying and that roar just fits.  This is honestly the best incarnation of Godzilla that Japan ever made and while they did do a good job when designing ShinGoji, even that one doesn't hold a candle to this one.

There are people out there who are not fans of giant movie monsters. Trust me. When I was a kid and I said that I liked Godzilla, I'd be made fun of. Now look at us.

Crap sorry about that. People all have different taste to things it's always good to be different it's what makes humanity.
People goes and spew out crap like it's bad for not being Normal or agreeing with different Ideologies or ideas difference it's what make us so don't be a shamed to be different even if the majority saids so but if they want Normal what is Normal

My rebuttal to the whole normal thing is this: like perfect, there is no such thing as normal. Plus I really don't care about the whole majority and minority things. Plus you did nothing wrong. I wasn't like the other kids in elementary school. Unlike them who enjoyed sports and real world stuff, I was always talking about dinosaurs, movies and monsters.

It would be boring if everyone's the same. I'm also one of those difference people who agree on a difference ideology than my other friends who like sports which to be honest I'm more of a study type guy becuase in the end the guys who look down on me for studying will be begging in me to teach them but dinosaurs and monsters are cool I take pride in life knowing more about the universe life is a very interesting things thinking of living creatures that exist now and before there all just amazing and with the size of the universe no one knows what could be out there among the stars maybe some secrets might be better left undiscovered and some might jumpstart a new frontier a new beginning for mankind

I'm not at all interested in space. It's the one thing I can not talk about and be fine with. But I don't hate others who do. I just think it's a big risk to go on just theories

Love all of them, even 2004 Godzilla despite how I'm not the biggest fan of Final Wars.

I remember you telling me that. Still, FinalGoji is a BEAST in a fight.
