Description Fairy is a type that has ridiculous offensive power but for the longest time, I was conflicted as to what my favorite Fairy type was. At first I said Tapu Koko because of its design, attack, and speed. I then said Klefki was my favorite since it could support the team with its Prankster ability. Turns out I had to wait until Gen 8 to realize it. Yes, I believe that Grimmsnarl is my favorite non-legendary Fairy type. Sure it can be slow in battle, but teach it Sucker Punch and have Prankster as its ability and you should be good. Plus, Spirit Break is a good move for this thing though I prefer Play Rough.
As for Grimmsnarl's shiny, it is one of the best, swapping its black hair and green skin for a pale white and maroon, it's enough to make anyone want it. In fact, I had noticed a few G-Max Grimmsnarl raids so I figured I could battle some. Eventually, I battled a shiny, weakening it enough to catch. My heart sank when it broke out and disappeared though; it was one of my first shiny fails. I thought that was it and I would not get so lucky again. Eventually, I joined more raids and found another shiny but I was not going to let it get away. Once it was weakened, I threw the only other ball I thought would do the trick. If you thought a Premier Ball, I'm sorry but that's wrong. I used a Repeat Ball. Yes I know it is a mid tier ball, but it did the trick and Gribominable (yes that it the name I chose) turned out to be fun to use. Sure his ability is Frisk but he is bulky and can hit pretty hard. It was enough to win the League and Battle Tower, especially since his G-Max form can put opponents to sleep.

No wonder this Pokémon is Marnie's ace.
