this is another shot from the hanabi matsuri day here.So . i want to see good movies that make me think about life :
examples ... the time traveler's wife , Mr.Nobody ... does anyone have a suggestion ??

A movie that made me think about life... hmm...
well, since most of the flms that I've seen are animations, the last one that made me think about life was Hachiko or Okuribito (yeah, both are japanese, I really liked them)

The last two movies that made think a lil' bit about life were: The Secret Life of Bees (with Dakota Fanning and Queen Latifah) and The Jane Austen Book Club.
But I have to be sincere most of the movies I see make me take some reflection time about me, life or something else

Hmmm seeing this photo Okuribito comes to mind? It was playing in Split's summer cinema the other day, but I watched it a year ago. It's an amazing movie, really makes you think. Oh and Ikigami too. I was really stunned and a bit sad after seeing that one.

have you tried k-pax? or little miss sunshine? they are really nice movies about life. i also could suggest "sunshine cleaning".
i love hanabi season. last year i was in yokohama/tokyo, in tamagawa. there was also a huge hanabi in the tamagawa riverbed.

I'm not sure if I have any good ones to be honest that are anything deep but ummm... Tsotsi ([link] ) comes to mind and there was another movie that took place in the Cold War in the Ukraine I believe that was about the relationship of an older man and a young boy. I completely forgot the name of it however

Have you ever tried "Taken"
It's a very nice one.I love it very much.You should try to see it if you like dramas/thrillers.

"If Only",I guess XD It's a good movie and it had me questioning about several things for a while.
