i'm trying to wrap up the prologue and finally get into the first chapter. but i was worried that some might not like this new style--too sloppy or something like that--so i'm glad to get some positive feedback.

Yeah, I know what you mean with worrying about the fans reaction to a change in style.
With my manga Vampire Angel, I was concerned with a few changes in the character designs I incorporated in Tamiko, but so far it's been mostly positive.
And take your time. We will be here when you get it finished!
