Is it intentional that all of your drawings seem to be so similar these days? all have the same eyes, same kind of teeth, all of them have the wrinkled forehead, I guess it works and is your duty as someone who draws these kind of characters, but didnt you older work have a bit more variety? also IMO the old eyes were better in a sense that they gave the character a sense of originality and you completley threw the symbolic eye away it doesnt appear anywhere.

i find it that if you "discover" a new feature to add to a character, you tend to stick with it for some time...my guess is that's what the wrinkled forehead and the eyes are about..you draw something new that looks good and you want to perfect it...just a guess
