Description I belong to the species that are asked: You have a big/expensive camera. It certainly makes great pictures. Would you bother taking pictures of our wedding for some pocket money? ... And as I actually enjoy it, I actually hardly decline the offer although the results are not really professional I suppose. Anyway, so far the couples have liked the pictures and most of them are still talking to me. So it can't be that bad.

I belong to the species that many years ago was asked to take photos of dance classes, pregnant women classes (?), etc. I worked only in my darkroom, and being paid for creating something for someone else...ruined it for me. I never took another paying job. However, money is tighter now & you enjoy it- so photograph as many as possible! Besides your "big/expensive camera" makes the pictures, right?

I actually did this as a favor for a bit of pocket money. Nothing you could call salary or compensation really. However, I enjoyed the day and also working on the pictures and the fact that other people are happy when they look at them, but they are not pictures I look at every now and then as there is no connection to it.

And of course my heavily overpriced camera and lenses take the picture. I bought them to compensate the lack of talent behind the camera.

Of course you did!     The part about other people being happy when they look at them, that's different. I must have made..well, 50 albums for other people- to make them happy & enjoy looking at different parts of their lives. That's priceless
