holy balls, i spent way too much time on this. i think this is the most characters in one piece i've ever done.

my current d&d adventuring group! our campaign is set in the ad&d birthright setting, though we're using 3.5 rules. the story is a continuation of a 4ish year campaign the dm had, with all new players. this group is a squadron of irregulars in the military of a largish kingdom warring with just about everyone else. from left to right, we have

ureii: lv 4 half-drow warmage and 'leader' just because he's the only with with any military training. at all. seriously. warmages are armor wearing casters that give up any non direct damage dealing spell. he wears a leather sleeve on his left hand to let him cast easily.

caduceus: lv 4 warforged favored soul (basically a spontaneous casting cleric) of Ruornil, assigned to the army because the church has interests in winning a border conflict. also assigned to watch over...

stein: lv 4 teifling rouge opted for a 2 year milatary tour instead of a hefty jail sentence for trying to steal a gem from a rich duchess. (that would have gone over better if she wasn't wearing it at the time) after her trial, she was given to the church and had a quest spell cast on her (so she wouldn't run away the first chance she got) and then handed over to the army

L.D. lv 1 orog barbarian/psychic warrior. the tank, and my favorite character ever. can manifest psychic powers, but is too stupid to realize he's doing it. seriously believes the things happening around him as his sheer awesomeness willing things into existence. not pictured: the battering ram he uses as a weapon (counts as a masterwork greatclub) also 2 levels behind the rest of the party, as orogs have a +2 level adjustment. that really hurts at times.

Stratawhovious: lv 4 warforged bard. because warforged bring the fucking metal.

i don't expect anyone to read any of that, but it's fun to write about.
