Since I'm right in the middle of my second Dragon Age playthrough, it was actually a given that I would have to make another character artwork sooner or later.So let's all act surprised that Kaana has yet another red-haired original character and say hello to Duineth Cousland instead, my human noble/dual weapon fighter.
She's the one who's supposed to get the happiest ending possible (at least where Alistair is concerned
), so I decided to make her artwork a little lighter and not so dark and bloody as my recent DA fanworks.Did I mention that she really rocks the battle field with these blades?

i believe that the happiest Alistair ending is were Alistair becomes king and your his queen:3 and theres humerouse dialouge in Dago Age 2 if you get tha path wit him

Looking through your pictures, the detailed work on all your armour is absolutely stunning. I could spend hours looking over each of the pieces for just the armour alone!

I like to make Alistair fall in love with my female characters and then send him off to die against the arch demon, it makes me smile.

In the begining, as a man, yes I died nobly sending the horde back to the depths, but afterwards I liked the idea of my chick's lover valiantly dieing for his love and the world. It's painfully heart breaking and gutt chrenchingly funny at the same time. Oh, I guess since I've seen it I should tell you that I really really like your art work. I lack the talent my self but I still appreciate it in others.

In one of my games, I let Alistair sacrifice himself, too - and was very disappointed that noone mentioned him afterwards at all, even though my character had been in a relationship with him right until the end.
Much more satisfying to marry him as a Cousland... or to die on your own!

Very nice artwork. I always enjoyed the human noble setting because there's a lot of material in there and denerim becomes much more interesting, much like the dwarf noble setting.

The Cousland setting is really an interesting one, especially with 'Awakening' around. And I loved the dwarven noble - so much drama.

Yes, it's all digital - the base settings are rendered with a 3D program called Poser, and then I import these files into Photoshop for the postwork process.
