Okay, there is this mythological creature called a baku (that just happens to share the name w tapir) that feast on people's nightmares and at times evil spirits and help ward off disease.
Wake up from a nightmare, you call for the baku to come and eat your bad dream.
The baku is kinda loosly based of a tapir, but its like mixed w a cow, elephant, tiger.. yeah. But Tapir is real and all... so... I rather just have one of that because it's not as scary.

oh okay. I didn't know about that. There are three of them at the zoo but I don't think they'd want to come home with me. They would take up lots of room. I think they also have a couple of Brazilian Tapirs too. The Brazilian ones are smaller so they might fit in your room better

This one is very good to very well shaped, and so cute. =^-^= *loves his toes* We don't see enough tapirs around here.
