Description A little sculpture I did of an African Wild Dog, done with air dry modeling clay.

Just a quick thing, it got late while I was working on it and it was already starting to dry so it was rushed. Quick paint job, I'll be redoing the eyes and adding more detail eventually

This kind of stuff is always so fragile once it dries, anyone know if there's some kind of strong glaze or something that can keep things like this a little better protected?

You could try good old Mod Podge, matte or glossy, or Triple Thick glaze by Americana at decoart.com.

Oh, mine's of an African Wild Dog, too. I've done the torso and legs so far, need to complete it ... if I can find it!!! (my Mum was tidying-up and she put it in a cupboard or something, and now she can't remember where it is!
I'll try to remember to post a link for you to see when I finish it.
I've created the frame of a diorama and I think it'll be perfect for my mini sculptures. Do you mind if I use sand, too? I love it! Keep up the awesome work!

oh neat! Yes I'd love to see. I actually have a work in progress of another wild dog too, this one out of sculpt and muchhh more anatomically correct than this guy xD

Hope you can find it! Of coarse not, by all means do

thanks I haven't worked with air dry clay in a while so it was a bit of a challenge. Usually I use sculpey which is nice because I don't have to finish it all at once x)
