From experience, it can be hard to stop daydreaming at school. That's how I ended up drawing like 10 pictures a day when I was 17-18. Now I'm lucky to do 1 every 2 weeks

Yay, Kabocha! Speaking of, I found something called a Kabocha Squash in the grocery store the other day. You're artwork is getting alot better, it looks really professional.

It looks kinda like an Acorn Squash crossed with a pumpkin.

Here's a wikipedia article on it.
There is this new grocery store that opened up called Ranch Market, and it is mostly an Asian grocer; that's where I saw it. Houston has alot of Asian Grocery stores, medicine shops, etc.. because of the large Asian community; in one part of town almost all the signs are in Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and/or Korean.
It's a VERY international and diverse city.
Thanks, I can't wait to see how he looks in you're style.

An aphrodisiac? Oh my.. I just thought it was something baked and ate.
Yeah, one of the reasons I wanted to move so badly was because I didn't really fit in; your talking about a Muslim in a small town trying to make do in a place where going to a different church can cause tensions between people, they've put me through hell on multiple occasions.

It's alright, thanks.
I actually had a bad dream about something they tried to do to me last night; when I think about it I could have had my life ruined because of some of those people.

Yeah, it was tough though. That whole "not in my backyard" attitude popped up pretty quick when they realized I wasn't a Christian and a Muslim at that. It was pretty bad enough that I didn't fit in because I was a "city-slicker" as they call it, but when they found out I was a Muslim all hell broke loose; things got alot better though in my senior year because we had the state's first courses on religious education as well as the morning character ed sessions.
I've had several rumors spread about me in my time there. In my Freshmen year people either loved me because I was one of the few "Katrina-Kids" from New Orleans or hated me because I was from the city.
In my sophomore year people started to get to me because they realized I was not a christian but most people had no clue what I was so I had rumors of everything from being a vampire to a fire-bending sorcerer.
In my Junior year, more people started to realize I was a Muslim and the whole terrorist phase of things began, I was in fact even accused and targeted by an entire church and prominent family of being in Al Qaeda, when I don't even give a damn about Al Qaeda in the first place(at least it all came back to them and destroyed their credibility and reputations when the school officials and police couldn't find any evidence to support their claims.). That year I got everything from death threats to people telling me I was going to hell.
In my senior year things cooled down, and because of World Religion courses, the Peace Club, and weekly character Ed sessions people became alot more tolerant and understanding. There were still a few die-hard pinheads out there, but for the most part it was pretty quiet and I even got a newspaper interview at the end of the year to dispel any rumors or myths about me.
It was tough to deal with and I am glad it is over with.
