What can I say? I got a soft spot for disheveled superheroes. I freaking LOVE Into the Spider-Verse and their awesome-as-hell rendition of washed-out Peter Parker. Watched the movie a few hours ago and suffice to say it's one of the best animations, period. The style, the action, the script, the direction...coupled with the PS4 game, this has got to be the best year for Spiderman stuff

Ahem anyhoo, I love that we finally get to see a Peter that isn't just starting out, not a schoolkid Peter, but an aged Peter who's still this wise-cracking web-slinger, just with a tinge of cynicism and weariness in his soul (that eventually gets fixed with Miles). It's as refreshing as watching an older Batman in BvS (Batfleck is best Batman, sue me).
