Imagine this, my thought chronicle:
You represent millions of people
Everywhere, global
Some nice, some awful

You enter through the door
Coat-hanger right next to you
Yet you throw your jacket on the floor
Alongside your chewed gum too

You need to perform the daily routine
To preserve the house’s plants but you don’t
The leaves turn to brown from green
Make a ‘difference’? You say, “No it won’t”

You turn on the stereo up loud
Smoke a cigarette
Drop the ashes into the water bowl
To be given to your pet

Last dog of the household
Has a sip and gets sick
So you decide to take the mutt in blindfold
Steal its life and add garlic

You feel the heat get to you
So on goes the air conditioner
At full blast, you put on two
They both stop, run out of power

Just for your convenience
And I guess for your entertainment too
You think in your short silence
Before destroying the roof like a piece of tissue

You don’t get another chance, only once
You don’t know the word ‘consequential’
The house is taken away from existence
Your home: an opposite to blissful
