Yay backstory! 8D So Alex isn't such a big jerk after all. S/he is just trying to protect the humans s/he loves so much. It'll be interesting to see who is right about Faegan in the end.
So... I recognize the flood and the locusts (plagues of Egypt?), but I don't remember the story behind the chasm. Can you remind me what happened?
