Hello there, since you are asking for critique and no one else has give you one, I will and I'll be as fair as possible
First of all, the light source is behind her and judging from the rest of the background there is no other light source in the room. Thus being said, the side of the girl that is visible to us and the bear head should be much much much more darker and have more plain black shadows, while her outlines should be bright and visible exactly just like the way you did it at her back and her butt . That way it would create an awesome realistic contrast.
Using the above technique would also make the sword look shinier while it is reflecting the minimal light that's in the room.

As about originality. I can see this is a commission so I can't judge directly, I don't know what the commissioner asked exactly but if he/she gave enough freedom to pose the girl and the whole composition then you just went for the usual stuff: It is just a typical sexy anime girl with a sword just like the million others, nothing special, nothing catchy.
But if it wasn't your choice though, then it's not your fault.
I don't have anything more to add, the fire is nice, same goes for the floor and the rest of the background.
I hope my critique will be of help, sorry if I'm being too harsh, just my two cents
