this is very silly.nyoron comics concerning my oft-redesigned APH OC, Etruria!
The first illustrates some key differences between ancient Etruscan and ancient Greek values. Though there is no indication that the Etruscans ever had girls compete in sports. That was just more ancient historians stretching the truth.
The second pokes fun at pottery found in Etruscan areas. They have greek lettering on them, but more often than not they're just gibberish. It has been hypothesized that the Etruscans just wanted to look smart and cool with a foreign language on their pots, even though they couldn't read it at all. It's the world's first Engrish! not that there were any insulting pots, though, haha
The last is from a snippet I read in a National Geographic. Apparently Etruscans partied differently from Romans...
