I have tried at least a million times to get a picture like this to where the blood doesn't look horrendously shiny.

I've been trying to perfect my mixture Haha Uhmm I use dark corn syrup with a lot of red food coloring but when I try to add blue or green even in small amounts it turns a gross not real looking purple. It's nasty Haha

Dark corn syrup? I've never heard of that; I always use clear 0.o
I usually put chocolate powder in mine for the darkness, then just a lil red food coloring and some green. But shiny forever D:
The first time I did it, it turned out a gross purple too and it looked so retarded haha.
I haven't done this in like 2 years, holy crap.

Haha yeah I use Karo dark corn syrup I've never had a problem with shiny blood.... XD
